WHAT'S INVOLVED?
As Invisalign does not require the use of metal brackets or wires, there is no need to undergo an attachment procedure. Instead, your dentist will take impressions of your mouth and put together a treatment plan with a specialized computer. From there, trays are prepared and are swapped out over time until the patient’s teeth are in their ideal position.
Invisalign trays are intended to be worn for 22 hours a day. As they are removable, patients are able to take them out to eat and drink their favorite foods. Patients can often start to see results in as little as a few weeks. Before long, the patient’s smile will be straight and beautiful.
