MEET DR. BLAKE YOUNG

Dr. Young is a North Carolina native, growing up here in Winston-Salem. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Biology while competing as part of the Varsity Men’s Gymnastics team. He then returned to North Carolina and attended NC State university where he received a Masters degree in Physiology. He then attended UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where Blake was an Adams Rural Oral Health and Wellness Scholar and served the Western part of our state during his fourth year of school. Upon graduation, he was also the recipient of the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry award.

Blake is passionate about dentistry and enjoys reading and attending courses to continue learning so that he can offer the highest quality of care for his patients. He is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Academy of Osseointegration. Blake loves to give back to the community through volunteer dental clinics including NC Missions of Mercy, and Wake Smiles.

Outside of Dentistry, Blake loves spending time with his Fiancé, Allison, and their black lab, Scout. They enjoy running, hiking, and traveling together.
