Ben Johnson

Dr. Ben Johnson grew up in Kentucky and earned his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he gained hands-on clinical experience in all areas of dentistry throughout his four years of training. He went on to complete a two-year general practice residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, with advanced training in complex treatment planning, endodontics (root canals), implant dentistry, sedation, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Johnson’s approach to dentistry centers on listening first, then tailoring care to each individual’s needs and lifestyle. He believes in educating patients as partners in their oral health, giving them the knowledge and vision to understand their treatment options and feel confident about their care. One of his mentors once told him that the best clinicians are also teachers—a philosophy he carries into every patient interaction.

Dr. Johnson has a particular interest in implant surgery, soft tissue esthetics, and complex rehabilitation cases. He is especially proud of his ability to problem-solve challenging cases—such as inheriting patients mid-treatment with multiple existing implants—where his thoughtful, individualized approach has helped preserve quality of life and achieve long-lasting results.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Johnson is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental innovation. He regularly engages in continuing education, inspired by advancements in science and technique, and values being part of a collaborative community of professionals who share the same drive for excellence.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Johnson is deeply committed to service. He volunteers with organizations such as Footbridge, which provides large-scale, high-quality dental care to U.S. veterans—a cause that he finds both humbling and rewarding.

At the practice, Dr. Johnson works closely with a team of five dedicated doctors, each bringing their own strengths and perspectives. This spirit of collaboration, combined with a shared commitment to patient-focused, quality-driven dentistry, is what he believes truly sets their practice apart.
